Very excited to finally release this new song of mine after so long! Been traveling recently and one of my latest destinations is Oahu, Hawaii where I got to play at a wedding. I wrote this song as the embodiment of how much the island lifted my spirit during my time there. I had a blast going around the island shooting this music video and getting up early to see the gorgeous sunset on the coast of this beautiful island, I also enjoyed going to luaus, learning about the native culture, interacting with locals, and just taking in almost everything Oahu had to offer. HUGE shoutout to the local guitar store Dan from Dan's Guitar for giving the best tips on shooting locations and great empty beaches to chill out in. Needless to say I want to go back already! Thank you Hawaii!

Short Film "The Legend of Mindi" RELEASED

Back in July, I composed for a short film called The Legend of Mindi. The film tells a story about Mindi, a gamer, whose quest is to find a job while at the same time, battling her own with difficulties with cognitive and behavioural skills. She associates the challenges and difficulties that she faces along the way with the challenges she faces in video games, and in her own world finds determination and courage.

Now the Storyhive version is finally out! Here it is!

I had a fantastic time scoring for this project, and it was even more fun working with familiar friends from Alpacalypse Productions. I had a great time meeting the cast and crew and working with them to make this project happen!

Initially a composition made for a client, "Ignition" is my first composition made with mainly electronic instruments. The song was inspired by my interest in cars and driving. I wanted to make a song that fits in the moment of those fun weekend cruises, drives past winding mountain paths, and the feel of the engine rev.

Here's an original song I've been working on the past two weeks and released just in time for Valentine's Day and around Chinese New Year! Hope you guys will enjoy! It's nice to be able to play some nice fluffy pop song amidst being in music school studying jazz and classical music for the past few years. Thanks to Hibino Yuki for helping me revising my lyrics!
